Literary Representation

Vilar Creative Agency represents literary fiction, creative non-fiction, current affairs, memoirs, popular culture, and children's fiction. VCA‘s fast growing list includes some of the most distinguished and thought-provoking voices of the Americas with an emphasis on Latino, Latin American, Caribbean and Jewish writers and a select number of European authors (forthcoming). The agency believes that making world literature available in English is crucial to opening our cultural borders, and promoting a healthy and vibrant book culture. VCA strives to cultivate an audience for these works by creating a list of stellar international writing.

Vilar Creative Agency was founded in 2003 in New York. Now based in Colorado, the agency works with a network of co-agents to represent translation rights in foreign territories, as well as film and television rights.
